My Birthday Gift!

Today is my birthday and i got a Nintendo WII i was very happy i also got 2 games WII Sports and High School Musical. I got boxing gloves for the WII Sports and a pink bag for the WII.How lucky? I am going to buy a game each week! I really want Summer Sports, Mario Galaxy, Pro Evaluation Soccer 2008 and WII Play.

Sports Superstitions

Here are some common superstitions in the world of sports.

Baseball

• Spitting into your hand before picking up the bat is said to bring good luck.
• A wad of gum stuck on a player's hat brings good luck.
• It is bad luck if a dog walks across the diamond before the first pitch.
• Lending a bat to a fellow player is a serious
  

Basketball

• The last person to shoot a basket during the warm-up will have a good game.
• Wipe the soles of your sneakers for good luck.
• Bounce the ball before taking a foul shot for good luck.

Football

• Double numbers on a player's uniform brings good luck.
• It's bad luck for a professional football player to take a new number when he is traded to another team.

Ice Hockey

• It is bad luck for hockey sticks to lie crossed.
• It is bad luck to say “shutout” in the locker room before a game.
• Players believe they'll win the game if they tap the goalie on his shin pads before a game.
• Many players must put their pads and skates on in exactly the same order every day.

Tennis

• It's bad luck to hold more than two balls at a time when serving.
• Avoid wearing the color yellow.

A Dumb Mistake!

If I asked you how many squares are on a chess board? You would say 64 you are wrong!

It is 204squares! How? Because it if you thought harder you would see a big square inside this square 4 squares then there is 9 squares then 16 squares then 25 squares then 36 squares then 49 squares then 64. Here is how I know:

Book review of SCRIBBLEBOY

Did you get bored of same old Horrible History or the big book what is it called Harry Potter? Read Scribble Boy a totally different style! But way more better and fun to enjoy. I need to in the middle of you seat or you would fall down from laughing. Really enjoyed reading this book because it is mysterious you don’t know what going to happen all the way through.

Here is the beginning the rest is for you to find out! Bailey loses his mum so he goes with his dad and moves in to a new town he doesn’t know anyone know one knows him until he receives a letter about ScribbleBoy he goes to the meeting and he gets so so mad because he doesn’t find anyone except ZiggyFuzz. Will he join ScribbleBoy? Will his mum come back?

The good points are there are really cool pictures. Many different characters with different attitudes. It will keep you interested the whole way and you will want to read on. But mostly because it is a different story from all that I read.

No book is perfect here are the things you can improve. When they are excited it get repeated which makes you a bit bored and wants you to stop reading. It could be like shortened down some parts are not needed. Pictures could be less.

I think this book is really good I recommend it for 10-16years old.
