How To Travel In Just One Bag

The most sophisticated travelers never struggle with loads of bags. Clever packing is the secret to being one those glamorous girls who breeze through airports and train stations with just one stylish pieces of luggage.
First, find the right bag. It should be small enough to be allowed on planes as a hand luggage (good luggage shops will know the dimensions), light, easy to carry and distinctive.
Write a list of everything you will need, then look over it and ask yourself if there is anything you could possibly live without. Collect each absolutely necessary item and put it on your bed, crossing it off as you do so. Take the list on holiday so that you can make sure you have not forgotten anything when you return home.
Choose outfits that you can mix and match. Wrap your clothes around the other items you are taking. Start with items that are least likely to crease and work towards it.

Pour toiletries into small bottles and place anything that could leak in a plastic bag. Pack under wear in your shoes – this saves space and stops your shoes getting squashed.

Neatly folds all you’re clothed and pack them into your suitcase, then fill any gaps with your socks. Wear your bulkiest items of clothing on the journey.
