The hare and tortise (in my own words)

One day the tortoise decided to have a race against the hare."Can I race you?"asked the tortoise.
"Yes you can"said the hare.
So the hare made the red lines and they asked there friends to be there audience.
The race started.The tortoise was along way behind the hare. The hare stopped and fell a sleep for a few hours.
The hare woke up and saw the tortoise near the red line. The hare went fast but the tortoise crossed the red line.
The tortise said"It was a good game."
The hare said"Well!Well!Well! I was not trying."
And they went home all happy except hare sitting alone.
